CHANG LAOR TAOR: An epithet for CHANG SANG-FENG, the thirteenth-century TAOIST PRIEST attributed with creating T'AI CHI. Chang Laor Taor means Chang the Slob. According to Chinese tradition, Chang Laor Taor was an ascetic and had only one cloak which he wore at all times. He never bathed and ate only a single bowl of rice every day.
